We spent 10 wonderful days at this lovely place. We were the only guests and stayed in “the owners” villa situated 15 meters from the beach. The villa is spacious, nicely designed and decorated. All the villas are more of an Arabic architecture style with nice garden. The facility land plot is a rectangular shape with short side going along the beach. There is shared pool, not too big and deep but perfectly clean. We liked the place as it was comfortable, well equipped and ideally placed overlooking the sea and palm trees. We had our breakfast set up in the villa and dinners by the pool. The chef is fantastic man, same apply to all the kitchen stuff. They did absolutely everything to please us, very friendly and professional. One thing to keep in mind, the hotel offers no alcohol. But you can bring your own drinks, we did exactly this.
The kitchen is roomy but there are no pans and other cooking appliances, the guests are not supposed to cook. There is no bar or a restaurant, dinners were served in a place next to the pool where the kitchen is.
We visited The Zubeida for the first time. It was a 5 star experience all the way until we left. The reception at the resort was so warm and friendly. The villa was sea facing and well designed being airy with large windows and plenty of light and sunshine and very well Maintained. The resort has stunning trees and plants and flowers all around and beautiful lawns to lie on. No crowding as there are only 8 villas. This is a real paradise on a very beautiful beach. The hygiene was Impeccable with fresh new towels , good quality bath products, the service great and the manager Maureen and her team made it a home away from home. The food was good and there were plenty of restaurants along the beach. Well done to the Zubeida team !! We will be back for sure.
The complimentary pick up from the airport was marvelous and upon arrival to the hotel, our stay was out of this world. We had a wonderful time. The villas were excellent interms of cleanliness and all other amenities were in great working conditions including the fans. The kitchen was also super. The swimming pool was very clean, neat and tidy. The breakfast menu was excellent and served very well by the team making it warm and delicious – one of the best. The birthday cake for 4 members was a real surprise which we greatly enjoyed. The Manager: Maureen, the chef Joe and all other staff did an outstanding job and made our stay a memorable one. Keep it up and keep up the good work.
Oh my goshhh, can I live here?!? We seriously had the most wonderful experience here. My husband and I want to retire in Diani Beach after our time at Maureen's amazing villas!! The beach was literally amazing, with easy to access few restaurants on the beach from. (Ahh and the sand at the beach, one of the most soft and perfect I've ever felt). The pool was beautiful and a great little hangout if you didn't feel like getting sandy. The villa itself was so perfect, with beautiful decor and very spacious. Gave us a sweet, air-conditioned haven away from the sun for just a bit. The staff was so attentive and sweet. Especially Maureen, what a doll!! If you're going to Diani Beach, you absolutely must stay here! We were only going to stay there for one night, and when we got there Maureen jokingly asked us why we were doing that and we instantly couldn't understand ourselves so we changed our reservation to stay. We just ate the cost of our previously booked place bc we had to stay longer😂
Great location right on the beach. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Apartment was big and had a lovely terrace to watch the monkeys from.
Only slight downside was the WiFi, which was intermittent.
