The Indian Ocean Beach Resort is situated in Diani beach in the south coast of Kenya. It is fifty km from Moi International Airport and only 9 km from Ukunda airstrip. Built next to the site of a 16th century mosque, the exclusive luxury resort is set in 29 acres of nature’s gardens on a crisp white sandy beach; the perfect setting to relaxing escapes. Surrounded by ancient baobab trees and swaying palms, a definite sense of history also lingers around this property, with the influence of the Sultans of Zanzibar felt in the hotels rich Arabian décor and the various antiques that dot the interiors.

    Jacaranda is a nice place to be just book your holiday, staffs are friendly and they value customer service as their priority and the place is cool no noise, the pool is very clean, food is very nice i liked the buffet service.

    The hotel is located along Beach road in Diani. The road is full of hotels and Jacaranda Hotel is the last one before the army base so a great location with a good sense of security. The hotel is along the beach front so the beach is easily accessible and really close by. I have a special diet and the chef and kitchen staff were most helpful in warming up my food etc. The hotel has a great Front Office Manager. I had one problem when I checked out with the billing and he quickly corrected it.

    The resort is really nice, clean comfortable, secure. Food enough, various, well cooked. People very kind and helpful.

    We were disappointed from the area as a whole. If you go outside Jacaranda - nothing to do, dirty and boring... I expected more for the high prices that we paid. Next time we will chose the beaches near Mombasa for sure.

    White pristine beach, great service friendly staff, well maintained rooms, plenty of beach beds spread around the property, good food. This is what makes us repeat visitors to the calm, peaceful oasis that is Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort. We will be back again!!!

    My stay at Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort was amazing. Staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. Food was great with variety and my room was always clean. Wifi was strong and pool is good. The hotel has great entertainment every evening. My room was just few steps to the beach and i enjoy a breathtaking view of the ocean at the comfort of my room. They have laundry services and baby friendly facilities.
