Description

Bayana is Swahili word meaning openly, as we are delighted to open our house for you and your family during your stay in Diani Beach. The house sits on second row of beach line north side of Diani beach and easily accessible through the main beach road.
From the house its 5minutes walk to the beach, Bayana House boasts of beautiful space from our 5 different sitting areas, kitchen, bedrooms and the nicely charming pool area. Bayana is designed more of Swahili giving taste of Zanzibar and Lamu.

    Super lovely place that's well worth the stay. Lots of room for up to 8 people and tons of space for everyone to work from the coast or lounge about (easily space for 15-20 to work at).The salt water pool was perfect and deep, and great for the late night swims. The staff are always available and very lovely people, with great food being prepared by Constance the Chef.It is maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach, but since the entire space was ours during the rental period, we spent a lot of time at the house lounging in the pool.Would recommend and totally revisit the place!

    The three of us stayed at Gabriel's place for four nights. Highly recommended. The house, garden and pool (perfectly salted and colorfully lit!) were airy, well layed out and amply furnished. The staff - Anne and Cosmas - very lovely and very helpful. Even assisted in retrieving a misplaced phone from the other side of town late at night. Cleaning was thorough and regular. Gabriel was extremely welcoming and had a genuine interest in making us comfortable. Closest beach access is at Jacaranda Resort just across the road (not sure whether there's access charge - we didn't make it to the beach on account of the comfortable and chill environment at Bayana). The place is about 15 min north from Ukunda airstrip in a tuktuk, at the end of a quiet street.

    We stayed at Bayana house with a group of friends for a weekend. The property is truly spectacular! Recently renovated everything is decorated tastefully, like you can see on the pictures. It’s very spacious, with loads of places to relax and of course an incredible salt water pool (even lights up at night). All the rooms are big, very clean, and there’s plenty of hot water and even air con. There’s also a large kitchen and strong Wi-Fi; we managed to do video calls with no issues. The house is walking distance to the beach and close to supermarket, restaurants etc. Gabriel was a great host. He and the staff were welcoming and helpful and really made our stay special. We’d love to be back!
